Internal study to determine the feasibility and cost of exporting hydrogen to Europe through existing gas pipelines, or through new H2 pipelines.
The study also covered the alternative of producing the hydrogen in Europe with return of CO2 through a pipeline for storage in a dedicated reservoir in the north sea.
Pipeline material and design aspects to accommodate H2 / CO2 transport was covered including evaluation of existing standards, rules and regulations.
The study also established the CAPEX and OPEX of the different alternatives.
