Consulting Engineer within Oil & Gas, Hydrogen and CO₂ projects
Reinertsen New Energy AS is an engineering company that develops projects and carries out design in all phases for the international energy companies. We more than 40 years of experience from pipelines and subsea facilities, and have now worked with hydrogen and CCS technology for over 10 years.
Our projects require a high level of expertise and relevant experience in areas such as project management, engineering and design of pipelines and subsea facilities.
With long-term framework agreements and an increasing workload, we now have to increase the workforce.
In the role of Consulting Engineer, we support customers in producing the necessary decision-making material for the development of large projects in all phases. Among other things, we contribute with:
Screening studies
Special studies
Expert support (critical disciplines)
Technology evaluation including remaining uncertainties in less mature technology
Develop technology qualification programme
Review and verification of proposed technology/solutions/changes
Risk and opportunity assessments
Planning and cost estimation/verification
Support in the preparation of tender requests and tender evaluation
Follow-up of contractors/suppliers
For small projects, we also carry out preliminary design and detailed engineering

Project managers and expert advisors
We are looking for senior engineers with experience from implementation and management of projects within oil & gas process plants and pipelines, and who want new challenges within low-carbon solutions.
Trondheim
Trondheim will be the place of work, but some travel to customers and suppliers at home and abroad must be expected.
