Reinertsen New Energy has long term frame agreements with the international energy companies.

These agreements form the basis for ongoing delivery of engineering services, studies and expert support across a wide range of project types.

Through our frame agreements, we contribute with multidisciplinary engineering competence in both early-phase and execution support roles.

These long-standing relationships demonstrate the trust placed in Reinertsen New Energy’s ability to deliver consistent, high-quality services over time.

Owner’s Engineer contract

We provide necessary technical expertise and resources required to secure handling of Vår Energi's technical responsibilities as development operator from the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) phase and throughout project execution.

Shell (Norway) 2017 –

Engineering services contract

Ormen Lange Phase 3 – FEED, Post-FEED and Detail Design.

  • Landfall design (Umbilical pull-tubes w/caps)

  • Pipeline design, expansion and VIV analyses, input to ECA

  • Umbilical routing from Nyhamna to the field, 2x120 km

  • Umbilical bottom roughness and free span analyses

  • Seabed intervention design; Pre-lay and Post-lay Rock installation vs. Trenching
